The Scandinavian Movement Disorder Society

The Scandinavian Movement Disorder Society called ScandMODIS is a non-profit organisation comprising neurologists from Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden with a special interest in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.

Its goal is to increase the interest in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, as well as to improve the opportunities for research, clinical treatment and the training of researchers and physicians. The organisation has an advisory role in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
